This Year's Project: Make A Mask - Make a Message
About Our Organization
The Beatrice Public Library provides a variety of services, including books, videos, DVDs, audio books, free internet search service, periodicals, genealogy and local history collections. Story times, book discussion groups for all ages, locally-produced exhibits, traveling displays, cultural programs reflecting our diverse community -- there is something for everyone.
Current Project: Make A Mask - Make a Message
The Beatrice Public Library Foundation in its support of the Library Maker Space is adding the latest technology in stitchery. The Bernina 880E is a marvel of ingenuity capable of performing automated sewing, quilting and embroidery at the push of a button. With the precision instrument, anyone will be able to produce high quality designs that can proudly be displayed on clothing, blankets, hats and so much more. During these times of uncertainty and worry, you can Make A Mask - Make a Message!
Anyone who visits the library is eligible to use this equipment in house. No library card is required.
