The Mercy Closet (a service of The Mercy Group) PUTS GAGE COUNTY FIRST!! We provides furniture, kitchen/household items, clothing, hygiene products free of charge to individuals or families in need in Gage County NE. The Mercy Closets purpose is to help hurting families ease cost of transitioning to either adulthood, first time needs or starting over needs. Our distribution network is made up of %100 volunteers all the way from the governing council to the everyday helpers. Our program is simple! People of Gage County donate to The Mercy Closet those donations are gifted to individuals/families in need (NEVER SOLD OR SHIPPED OUT OF OUR COUNTY, DONATIONS STAY IN GAGE COUNTY SERVING GAGE COUNTY RESIDENTS AT ALL TIMES) Funds granted to The Mercy Group will be used for facility rental for display of donated items, cost of running facility, transportation of donated items from/to giver/receiver.
