This Year's Project: Help our athletes reach the 2024/25 Special Olympic State Games

About Our Organization

Let me win, But if I can not win, Let me be brave in the attempt.

Beatrice Special Olympics provides year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their unified partners, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gives, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic Athletes and the community.

Current Project: Help our athletes reach the 2024/25 Special Olympic State Games

We are thrilled to announce that our athletes have the incredible opportunity to compete in the 2024/2025 Olympic Games in Western Nebraska. This is a dream come true for our dedicated and talented athletes, who have worked tirelessly to qualify for this prestigious event.

However, achieving this dream comes with significant financial challenges, and we need your help. The costs associated with traveling to the Olympic Games—including mileage, accommodations, meals, and other essential expenses—are substantial. To ensure that all our athletes can participate without financial burden, we are reaching out to our community for support.

By contributing to our travel fund, you are not only helping our athletes reach the Olympic Games but also investing in their dreams and future. Your donation will directly support nearly 60 athletes, ensuring they have the opportunity to compete and represent our community with pride.
