This Year's Project: New project room and museum expansion

About Our Organization

Beatrice Area Railroad Enthusiasts is committed to preserve local railroad history and is open to the public. We educate the public about the importance of railroads and their history in the building of this great nation. Whether you enjoy model railroading or just like to photograph trains and enjoy railroad memorabilia our mission is simple: promote and encourage people of all ages to enjoy the world of trains and model railroading. We are proud to be part of beautiful downtown Beatrice so stop on by and see us and bring the family and be sure to follow our progress on Facebook!

Current Project: New project room and museum expansion

Due to the overwhelming success of last years Gage County Foundations "Big Give" drive, we have been able to secure our current location for our clubhouse and would like to thank everyone for making it possible! This year we have an oppurtunity to secure an additional room for expansion and railroad museum and we need your help. With the funds we receive this year, we will be able to expand and grow and turn the additional room into a train memorabilia museum dedicated to educating the public and preserving Beatrice's rich railroading history with the rare and unique artifacts of the five railroads that once served Beatrice and surrounding communities. Our clubhouse is on historic 5th street here in beautiful downtown Beatrice, Nebraska and is a 501c-non profit group with two operating model railroad layouts and is always open to the public for everyone's enjoyment and educational purposes! Thank you.
