About Our Organization
In 2001, eight men met in a basement who all had a passion for trains and model railroading and B.A.R.E was born! As a non-profit organization, the Beatrice Area Railroad Enthusiasts are committed to preserve local railroad history and is open to the public. We educate the public about the importance of railroads and their history in the building of this great nation. Whether you enjoy model railroading or just like to photograph trains and enjoy railroad memorabilia our mission is simple: promote and encourage people of all ages to enjoy the world of trains and one of the best hobbies around... model railroading! We are proud to be part of beautiful downtown Beatrice, NE so stop on by and see us on historic 5th Street and bring the family and be sure to follow our progress on Facebook and our newly redesigned website! https://barerrclub.wixsite.com/bareclub
