About Our Organization
Our mission is to support our student athletes in ways that will enhance and promote a positive high school athletic experience for all.
The Beatrice Orange Booster Club is organized to promote our student athletes throughout the community, and to raise funds to support the needs for continued development and growth both on and off the fields, courts, mats, and courses. BHS students involoved in activities have an overall GPA of 3.082. At the Beatrice Orange Booster Club, we feel our support promotes spirit and good sportsmanship for all students, faculty, parents and other members of the community while touching the lives of each and every student in the school system in several positive ways.
BHS has awesome opportunities to live stream many of the sporting events, however without the right licensing we cannot stream any music. Neptune Gametime is a music streaming service that covers all the legalities to allow music to be streamed during the events, as well as ensure that all the lyrics are appropriate and family friendly. It is $1000 per school year.
Coaches Special Requests: COVID-19 set our fundraising back significantly. We are hoping to raise enough funds to help our sports teams and coachs get back to normal practice and game day routines. There are several items coaches are not able to purchase through the general budget process due to financial restrictions of the Beatrice Public Schools. Items we have helped purchase in the past include the HUDL annual video subscription, pitching machines, iPads for video needs, tennis ball hoppers, tennis racquets, training and workout equipment, new wrestling mats, volleyball equipment, and team sports bags. These special requests can change each year for each team depending on needs of out dated equipment.
Striv is a live video streaming platform BHS would like to use to share our student events LIVE online. Live streaming will provide a great way for BHS teams to connect with those who are unable to attend events. COVID-19 continues to impact our students. They are now limited in the number of family members they can have attend their events, some events do not allow any family members to attend.
Striv will allow our BHS grandparents, parents, siblings, friends and alumni to watch and support our athletes from a distance. In addition, this program will allow BHS students to work with digital media to assist in the production of the Striv LIVE streaming events.

Team Meals for Away Games: The meals are made by the high school cafeteria staff to provide nutritional meals for all players and coaches on the road. The Booster Club pays BHS for meals, and water for all away games/meets. These meals help provide the protein and carbs needed to help assist with athletic performance. Many families have been unable to provide the meals as needed. In addition, each time a team makes it to the state competition, each athlete is given $10 per day of a state competition for a meal.
