About Our Organization

The Stake Your Claim Foundation is a 501c3 that supports Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce and it's mission to strengthen, sustain, and grow our local culture and economy.

Current Project: Welcome Signs

Let's update Beatrice's welcome signs together!

The five current welcome signs located at each of our community's corridors have been in place since the 1980's. It's time for Beatrice to modernize our gateway signage and create a welcoming first impression into our community! With your help, new signs will greet residents and visitors alike, with a new image representing our homesteading history, while showcasing Beatrice as a progressive, thriving community.

The Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce has created a committee to implement a sign design previously obtained by the City of Beatrice. Working with the Stake Your Claim Foundation, this committee will begin fundraising efforts at this year's Big Give Gage! Their goal is to fundraise for all five locations and work with local vendors to complete the project by October 2024.

This year's $40,000 fundraising goal when met will assist in funding the metal silhouettes for the signs.
