This Year's Project: Independence Matters
About Our Organization
Mosaic is a whole-person healthcare organization reaching across 11 states and providing supports to more than 4,500 people. Services empower people with disabilities, mental and behavioral health needs and autism, as well as aging adults to live their best life. Mosaic is an affiliated social ministry organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and a member of Lutheran Services in America.
Current Project: Independence Matters
"Independence" means different things to different people, but it's an important part of most of our lives.
At Mosaic, we empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independent, full lives. One of the ways we do this is by providing transportation for people on the campus to get to and from work and lunch, both important outlets.
- What is the need? As more of the people we support age and the need for transportation on the campus grows, we need your help to continue providing this important service. We currently have one 12-passenger vehicle. Our goal this year is to raise money to purchase a second, so we can keep 24 people on the move.
- What is the cost? A new 12-passenger vehicle costs $13,000.
How will we purchase the vehicle if today's goal is only $5,000?
The funds raised today will be combined with other resources and used as matching funds for grant applications, making your gift today even more impactful. Raising $13,000 on Big Give Gage would be okay with us, too!
Thank you in advance for supporting Mosaic.
